Roberta Hadley

Roberta grew up in Durham and is a program director for a local Communities in Schools affiliate where she has been employed since 2011.

She is a tennis enthusiast and has been playing year-round in tennis leagues. Roberta is a certified teaching professional through the Professional Tennis Registry, PTR and she enjoys coaching youth tennis for the City of Durham and the Town of Carrboro and EMPACT Tennis. She is the VP of the Raleigh Tennis Association’s Board of Directors, a current member of the USTA Southern Section NJTL, and a previous member of the USTA Southern Section Diversity and Inclusion Board.

Roberta has been coaching with EMPACT Tennis since 2019 and works with both youth and adult players. She especially likes teaching beginners and watching them learn and grow into confident players.
